Shipping and Handling Rates:
Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Unless otherwise indicated shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order.

You could easily see an estimate of how much your shipping charges would be by adding an item to the shopping cart and entering your shipping zip code.

What shipping method does use? uses UPS as the primary carrier for most small items. Economoy shipping might mean we also use the US Postal Service. Should you require faster service, UPS Seconday Day Ground (2 business days) or UPS Next Day Air (1 business day) are available at an extra cost.

Where does ship from? ships from a our warehouse center in San Diego, California. In addition, we have a network of suppliers worldwide which can drop ship special items to you directly.

When will I get my package?
Your order is thoroughly reviewed to ensure accuracy, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Credit Card Department, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment. Please note, credit card processing can take up to 2 business days (Depending on the accuracy of the information given to us by the customer.). Further, for security reasons, voice confirmation may be required before we can process your credit card for payment. If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our main warehouse or from one of our Distribution Warehouses located throughout the United States. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory in our warehouse.

Next Day Air: 1 Business Day

Back Orders:
Sometimes a product you desire is not readily available. In these circumstances, you will be contacted with shipping options. If you desire, the order can be split or held for shipment at one time. Our standard policy is that your credit card is not billed until product is actually shipping to you. You are not committed to the purchase of an item that is in backorder status until it is confirmed. We have the industry’s best customer care where backorders are concerned. We provide frequent updates on status — and until product is shipping, it is ok to cancel the order for it.

Shipping in the US:
California Cycleworks reuses boxes and filler, so please excuse boxes that do not offer the best appearance. Most items ship via UPS, as their service is the best available — tracking, insurance, and signature protected delivery. We are not limited to UPS and will use the most "common sense" delivery method to get your order to you. Sometimes it is more economical to use US Postal Service Priority Mail.

International Shipping:
Please do not ask for a "gift" shipment. This is illegal and our agents sign a US government document at the time of shipping asserting the contents and purpose of the shipment. The US Postal Inspectors have enough work without California Cycleworks adding to it. If you are determined to avoid paying import duties, have a friend in the US buy the parts and have them send the items to you. Since they know you, they would be more likely to gift you costly motorcycle parts then a complete stranger who coincidentally is a motorcycle parts vendor.

For international shipping, we use Postal Express Mail Service (EMS). California Cycleworks can only ship to the address where the credit card bill goes. All items are shipped "Ex Works" - California Cycleworks, San Diego. UPS, DHL, FedEx, and independent courier can be used under special circumstances (such as shipping a HM69 fuel tank to Australia). You must provide your account number for any shipment using FedEx. Apply for your FedEx account on their website.

Do I have to sign for my package?
YES! For security reasons, all shipments require a signature at the receiving location.
